NATIONAL MASTER DAIRYMAN AWARD
Mr Charlie MacGillivray, was awarded the
National Master Dairyman Award at an awards
ceremony held in Bloemfontein. This prestigious
award is based on the 2010 lactations for the
herd, and is open to the winners of the regional

Master Dairyman Awards held in July 2011. This
award is open to all officially Milk Recorded
Dairy Herds, in the respective provinces.

farming for 38 years and is currently milking
approximately 350 registered Holsteins (MacNeil

amount of concentrates fed in the milking
parlour. Charlie breeds animals with high

families and has produced some great bulls.
